Public Water Tank

One Single Water Tank; Multiple Lives Improved

£10 a month | £120 a year.

Yemen’s water crisis has worsened over the past decade. Due to high rates of population growth, droughts, conflicts and economic instability, the water crisis has spiked rapidly by exhausting most of the country’s water sources. With the absence of safe water to drink, wash or feed crops, the economic decline in Yemen has taken a free fall.

Yemen Struggles For Clean Water

The unavailability of clean water leaves millions of people no choice but to walk miles to the nearest water point or manual-intensive drilling for groundwater extraction. Water scarcity and using contaminated water cause hygiene and sanitation problems that lead to the transmission of deadly diarrheal diseases, including cholera, typhoid fever, and other water-borne illnesses.

Improve Multiple Lives Through Generosity

Giving water to drink is considered one of the best charities in Islam. It is also a form of Sadaqah Jariyah. Your support for the deprived communities to grant them water security and improve their emotional well-being as they will have one less problem to worry about. Show empathy to millions by donating towards water tanks and making a positive impact on Yemen’s economy.

Saba Relief’s Public Water Tank & Refill Project

Saba Relief has set up the Public Water Tank project to enable relief among public and communal spaces. A single Public Water tank can quickly fulfil the hydration needs of a community or village with enough water. Saba Relief has thoughtfully placed these tanks at locations with high public demand for water, such as villages, town centres, schools and mosques.

Saba Relief aims to improve health among the masses through these water tanks as safe water can help reduce diseases that cause suffering for millions. Moreover, access to safe water can enable colossal relief to the poor, promote dignity and safety, particularly among women and girls, control malnutrition, and help boost the economy.
